RULES OF PROGRAM ENTRIES: Please read thoroughly
Selection Waiver & Decision: Due to high volume of submission in IARI Diwali, your submission is not a guaranteed selection. The committee will review each submission for the content and quality before approval. The Cultural Committee’s decision on selection of entries is the Final decision. You will be notified of your status of selection by email. For any questions or queries, contact IARI Cultural team at events@indiari.org
Online Form Submission:

All submissions must be done through the Online Diwali Program Registration Form. No other form of registration will be accepted.

Form must be complete. Incomplete form or missing information will disqualify any entry.

Key Deadline Dates:

Oct 5th– Deadline for online submission of forms along with short practice videos (links to YouTube videos or any other formats). No entry will be accepted after this deadline. Registration will be closed earlier sometimes, if it reaches maximum capacity.

Oct 10th- IARI Cultural Committee will communicate selection of entry by email.

Oct 14th – Deadline for submission of final Mp3s. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your entry.

Registration FEE: Participation and tickets are free for IARI members and children below 18 years. (Become an IARI member or renew your membership by 10/20/2022).

Short Video: Each participating group should submit/ attach a short practice video for evaluation in the registration form in the section for ‘short practice video link’.

Songs used: IARI does not allow duplication of songs. So if any duplication occurs (where more than one group is using the same song), songs will be allowed on a first submission basis, upon selection, refrain from choosing obscene or vulgar wording songs.

Performance time 3 to 5 mins, performance # for group and group size limit : Maximum time allowed for each entry is strictly 5 mins and One performance only (either classical or non-classical) for a group and group size should be four or more. If you need a little longer than 5 mins (a few secs more), please contact IARI Cultural committee asap, with proper reasoning of why it needs to be longer. Consideration will be given to the uniqueness of the item.

Kids performers’ age group should be 5 and above.

Kids who wish to participate in the Dia dance, please register using this Dia Dance link.

PROPS to be used: Inform IARI of all the props to be used for your dance. Groups are requested to declare in their submission any props they intend to use. Please be mindful of following groups and use props accordingly. Props that include colors (gulal), confetti (or poppers), anything with metal pins etc. are not allowed. Props are the owner’s responsibility. IARI will not be responsible for any loss, if occurred.

Additional Details Upon Selection: Should your team be selected, additional details on next steps will be communicated. Failure to do so will result in cancellation of your entry.

IARI reserves all rights to amend the rules of Diwali Fest 2022 if needed.
